Magic Chef 17438100004745 Door Lock for Washer
Quick Overview
The Magic Chef 17438100004745 Washer Door Lock regulates the front-loading door panel during active wash, rinse, & high-speed spin cycles. This electro-mechanical assembly receives electrical signals from the main control board using an internal latch pin to prevent opening while the drum rotates. By keeping the seal compressed, the component blocks water escape and flooding during rapid agitation intervals. It mounts directly behind the front cabinet shroud, aligning with the door strike to serve as the primary mechanical guard mechanism managing opening access throughout the cycle duration.
