The LG 6324W1A001L Microwave Magnetron generates microwave energy for heating food inside the cooking cavity. It is fitted within the appliance high-voltage section and connects to the waveguide and high-voltage electrical circuit. When supplied with the required high voltage the magnetron converts electrical energy into microwave radiation & directs it through the waveguide toward the cavity.
