Whirlpool W11282989 Transformer for Range Hood

The Whirlpool W11282989 Range Hood Transformer converts incoming electrical voltage to the level required by designated hood components. It is fitted within the electrical compartment of the range hood, where its terminals connect with the incoming power circuit and secondary output wiring. Electrical current passes through the transformer windings, producing a lower or regulated voltage for the connected circuit. This conversion allows components requiring a different voltage level to receive proper electrical power. The transformer provides an essential electrical connection within the hood system, supplying the required voltage for lighting, controls or other low-voltage components according to the appliance configuration.
