Whirlpool W10877094 Insulation Shield for Dishwasher

The Whirlpool W10877094 Dishwasher Insulation Shield separates heat-producing areas from nearby structural sections, limiting direct thermal transfer during heated stages. It is located within the insulation area around designated internal sections, where it rests between heat sources and surrounding surfaces. The shield works with adjacent insulation layers and retained panels to regulate localized heat movement across the surrounding structure. Its placement maintains separation around areas exposed to elevated temperatures while the appliance progresses through programmed stages. The arrangement supports controlled thermal conditions during washing and heating portions of operating cycles.
