Samsung DG47-00064A Dual Radiant Surface Heater Element for Range

The Samsung DG47-00064A Range Dual Radiant Surface Heater Element converts electrical energy into controlled heat for cooking on the glass or ceramic cooktop surface. It is fitted beneath the designated radiant cooking zone, with its terminals connected to the appliance wiring and control circuit. The element contains separate heating sections that can operate according to the selected power setting, allowing different heat levels and cooking-area configurations. Heat generated through electrical resistance transfers upward through the cooktop to the cookware placed above the zone. This controlled heating provides the required surface temperature during normal cooking cycles.
