Samsung DE96-00414A Body Latch Assembly for Microwave

The Samsung DE96-00414A Microwave Body Latch Assembly houses microswitches verifying complete door closure before allowing energy generation. This internal structural block mounts directly behind the front cabinet frame, receiving the door hooks when the panel swings shut. When the prongs slide into position, they activate the integrated toggle switches, completing the electrical path supplying the tube. This mechanical switchboard prevents active operation if the door opens slightly, operating as an internal control system regulating voltage distribution, thereby shielding internal electronic system and maintaining structural containment of high-frequency waves during heating operations inside the food preparation area.
