LG MEE62225101 Sheath Heater for Refrigerator
Quick Overview
The LG MEE62225101 Refrigerator Sheath Heater converts electrical energy into heat to warm the area around the evaporator during the defrost process. It is installed near the evaporator and connects to the appliances wiring and temperature control circuit. When energized the heating element raises the surrounding temperature to melt frost, and ice that accumulate on the evaporator surface. The resulting water moves toward the drain area for removal. This heater forms part of the defrost system, supporting clear airflow across the evaporator, and allowing the cooling process to continue with proper heat exchange.
