LG MDJ64544301 Coarse Filter for Dishwasher

The LG MDJ64544301 Dishwasher Coarse Filter captures larger food debris, and residue from wash water before it reaches the drainage pathway. It is located within the lower filtration area beneath the dish rack where it interfaces with the fine filter, and sump section. The filter uses a perforated structure that allows water to pass while retaining larger particles that could, interfere with circulation or drainage. It permits periodic cleaning to clear accumulated residue from the screening surface. By separating coarse debris from recirculating water the filter maintains proper water movement, and supports consistent washing, and draining during cycles.
