LG 6615JB2005H Defrost Temperature Sensor for Refrigerator

The LG 6615JB2005H Refrigerator Defrost Temperature Sensor measures the temperature around the evaporator during the defrost process. Installed within the evaporator compartment the sensor connects to the control circuit through its wiring harness. Its temperature-sensitive element changes electrical features as surrounding conditions vary, providing readings used by the electronic control system. The component allows defrost timing and temperature thresholds to be managed according to detected conditions, while preventing unnecessary heating beyond the required range. By supplying thermal information to the control system, it supports proper defrost regulation during normal operation cycles.
