LG 5230W1A011E Charcoal Filter for Microwave

The LG 5230W1A011E Microwave Charcoal Filter removes cooking odors and certain airborne grease particles from air passing through the ventilation system. It is positioned within the designated filter compartment along the exhaust pathway, allowing circulating air to pass through the charcoal media. The porous filtering adsorbs odor-producing compounds generated during food preparation while permitting airflow through the ventilation routes. Its surrounding frame keeps the filter media secured in the required location and aligned with the air passage. By treating recirculated air before discharge, the filter supports proper ventilation operation during normal use.
