The LG 4430JJ2005A Refrigerator Door Closing Cam assists the heavy swinging panels in shutting tightly against the main cabinet frame. Attached onto the lower hinge pin assembly, this molded riser uses an inclined track mechanism that moves upward when the door is pushed open. As the door moves close to the cabinet, gravity guides the corresponding cam part down the slope, pulling the panel firmly inward. This assist compresses the magnetic perimeter gasket completely, preventing warm ambient room air from leaking inside and disrupting the cold-storage condition.
