The Carrier HK42FZ018 Control Board is used to regulate the operation of the furnace by taking low-voltage signals to a thermostat to handle the ignition sequence and the timing of the blower motor. This microchip is used to check on sensors, and flame rectification to make sure that the heating cycle starts, and ends as per programmed logic. The spade terminals and multi-pin headers are connected to electrical connections to enable communication between the gas valve and the inducer motor.
